All India Political Parties Meet

Agenda:

Agenda to be declared 60 days prior to the conference

The All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) is a consultative forum convened by the Government of India to facilitate dialogue and consensus-building among recognised national and regional political parties on issues of national importance. It is not a constitutional or statutory body, but functions as an institutional mechanism for political consultation, particularly on matters affecting national unity, internal security, foreign policy, and major legislative or policy initiatives.

Through the AIPPM, the Union Government seeks to brief political leadership across the spectrum, exchange views, and build broad-based political understanding on critical developments. Such meetings are typically chaired by the Prime Minister or senior Union Ministers and provide an opportunity for opposition parties to raise concerns and offer suggestions.

The AIPPM thus serves as a platform for inclusive political engagement, reinforcing democratic dialogue and cooperative federalism by bringing diverse political voices into discussions on issues of overarching national interest.
